A triptych tapestry made for the millennium in St Peters and St Paul’s Church

The tapestry consists of three panels depicting scenes of the village. Around the panels are badges of the various organisations that can be found in the village.
The left panel depicts the Methodist Chapel and several cottages. Above the Chapel is a sporting scene and below is a playground scene.
The middle panel depicts the church and some more village buildings. Above and below are scenes of sports and brownie and guide activities.
The right panel feature shows the bluebell woods at the top and the May festival at the bottom.
The tapestry was unveiled on 30th April 2000 by Jean Clarke, a textile artist, who had helped in the creation of the tapestry by the village.
