Remains of Anchor a 16th century anchor placed near belem Tower in Lisbon.
Today, only the Stock (Stump) and it´s bands remain in display. The remains are placed outside the Combatant Museum near the Belem Tower. Next to it there´s an old sign where we can read in Portuguese, English and French: "Cepo Stump Billot", "Ancora Anchor Ancre" and "XVI Century Siecle". There was probably a picture or sketch of the original anchor but it vanished over the time.
