The Postman's Tavern building was the original post office first commissioned in 1879. The post office was decommissioned and in 1993 became the Nowra Postman's Tavern.
The tavern has had extensive renovations although the exterior is true to the original design. It offers bistro meals 7 days a week & dinner all days bar Sunday. Children are allowed in the bistro only & have their own meal choices. There is a cocktail bar & the rooms on the first floor can be hired out for parties, functions etc.
The bar serves draught & bottled beer, wine by the bottle or glass, cocktails, spirits, ciders & non alcoholic beverages.
Entertainment ranges from DJs to bands. Friday afternoon/night the tavern attracts workers looking to unwind & its central location always sees a good role up.
