While caching in the Lincoln, Alabama, area, we stopped to take a look in Blue Eye Cemetery where we discovered this Woodmen of the World marker. Looking at the dates we noted how young this person was when he died and wondered what the story might be. The cemetery is located next to Blue Eye Baptist Church, which was established in 1834.
