It is appropriate for the Kruger's Jewelers town clock to be in the historical district of downtown Austin, TX because the company was extablished in 1906. The address of the Kruger's Diamond Jewelers is 722 Congress Street, just three blocks south of the Texas State Capitol grounds. The actual clock portion of the sign is a basic round face with a schoolhouse clock appearance, made by Bulova. However, the large red signage of the company's name is the dominant feature, especially in the evening when the green and white neon is turned on.
