Clock mounted on an ornamantal wrought bracket to the wall of the north lodge. Bracket,clock housing and numerals are black, dials white and hands are gold. One face towards the park entrance and the other towards the park.
Below the clock and mounted on the lodge wall is a plaque which reads -
"THIS CLOCK WAS MODERNISED IN 1969 THROUGH A GIFT FROM
MRS I.SOWMAN
EX MAYORESS
IN MEMORY OF HER BROTHER
COUN. H.BURGIN M.B.E.
EX MAYOR AND CHAIRMAN OF PARKS COMMITTEE FOR 24 YEARS."
