Woodville is a small community located on Sperryville Pike (Rt. 522) in Rappahannock County, VA. St. Paul's Episcopal Cemetery is located on Hawlin Rd. just west of 522.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church was one of three churches in the Bromfield Parish which was established in 1752 and included Rappahannock County, Madison County, and a small part of Culpeper County. The church was destroyed in the tornado of 1929 which tore through Woodville taking out many buildings and homes. The churchyard survived. The only reminder of the church is a monument within the cemetery grounds with a plaque that reads:

MAY 3, 1929

The cemetery is still active and well-maintained. A wide range of memorials and monuments spanning many years are found among a few towering trees and several boxwood bushes. Burials include former senator and presidential candidate, Eugene McCarthy, NBC newsman, Frank McGee, and a beloved cat.
