Sperryville sits at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains next to
Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. The Blue Ridge Mountains are named because of their blue hue when viewed in the distance.
A sign on Rt. 211/Lee Hwy. welcomes visitors and travelers to Sperryville with gold letters imprinted on a simple background of blue-hued mountains and reflects the same background often seen from this little rustic town.
