Tvrz vznikla pri poplužním dvore kolem r. 1330, i když písemná zpráva o ní se v pramenech objevuje až r. 1405. Je jednou z mála gotických tvrzí, která si zachovala do dnešních dnu puvodní stavební dispozici. Je to mohutná obdélná trípatrová budova, vystavená z opuky. V jižní cásti je pravoúhlý výstupek kaple. V interiéru i exteriéru se dochovala rada gotických stavebních detailu.
The fortress was founded around 1330, although written report about it is from 1405. It is one of the few Gothic fortress, which has preserved the original construction layout to this day. It's a massive three-story rectangular building, builed of slate. In the southern part is rectangular protrusion of the chapel. In the interior and exterior is preserved a number of Gothic architectural details.
