This village was used as the base for airforce prior to the MARKET GARDEN or ARNHEM Raids in World War Two as depicted in The Film ' A Bridge too Far.'
The stained glass window is a vibrant red with a modern Horseman on Pegasus the winged Horse the insignia of the Parachute Regiment and a dedication:

Description of Memorial: This is a vibrant red Stained glass window inside the church of All Saints and is to the left as you enter.It shows the regimental insignia of Pegasus and a dedication, there is a photograph on the cill showing a Dakota and Crew . to the left is another Memorial To the fallen at Arnhem.
There is a Wreath of red poppies placed on the ledge.
