This gazebo is a well known landmark in Faro, administrative capital city of Algarve, the Southernmost province area of Portugal. It was built in late 19th Century (1894-1895). In the last quarter of the 20th century, a cafe was attached to the original structure. This situation was terminated in 2004, when the gazebo was renovated.
