The Barragem do Pego da Moura, also known as Barragem do Pego da Mina, is a Roman water dam, located in Grândola, and was declared as public interest in December 31, 1997.
This water dam, built at the time of Roman occupation of the Portuguese territory, was only identified in the twentieth century; being the process of classification concluded in 1996.
The dam consists of three walls, of rectangular section, with six buttresses, with a maximum height of approximately 3 meters.
