This Dolmen is the best preserved of all the region of Sintra, and one that may have easier access in terms of visits.

It was discovered in the nineteenth century by C. Ribeiro, and has been attributed by some authors chronologically to the Chalcolithic period (between c. 2700/2500 and c. 2300 BC) of region of Estremadura
Are still visible traces of the original burial chamber with a polygonal configuration, with more than 3,5m in diameter, built directly on the rock, and remaining six vertical stones who originally composed it.
As for the cover slab - or "hat" - it appears somewhat fractured by the fall of one or the vertical stones. The hall had about 8m long by 2m wide.
