There are a series of these solar panels attached to a string of power lines along County House Road. These panels feed directly into our power grid.

I found these panels while visiting a small county park. These recently installed panel are part of the Public Service Electric and Gas, (New Jersey’s largest utility). This government entity has unveiled a five-year, one-of-a-kind plan to install solar panels on 200,000 utility poles in its service territory. The utility expects to spend $773 million on the project. This waymark is for the southern most pole with the other ones, extending north along the road.

Type of system: Photovoltaic (electrical)
