Nakhon Sawan is one of the many small provinces of central Thailand, ~200kms north of Bangkok, with a capital of the same name. The bus station for the capital and province is found on the western side of the city centre, off the main road of the town. It is larger than would be expected from the relatively small size of the province, but the station was busy during my visit.
In design the terminal is a rectangular building, with a main entrance on the northern side of the building, which leads through to a waiting area with bus bays around. There is food and drink on sale, paid toilets, and lots of people. Buses from here leave for Bangkok, to the neighbouring provinces, and 'local' buses to the towns and villages in the province.
There is the usual group of motor bike and tuk tuk 'taxi' drivers waiting your arrival, ready to whisk you anywhere around the town. Few tourists or westerners reach this quiet spot, so little English.
