The museum opened in 1984 and shows the life and work of typical local farmers in the past centuries with many original exhibits.
The building is a typical old farm house as it was in use until the early 20th century. It is undated but appears on a map from 1678. The opening hours are usually accompanied by some specially themed events and there is freshly baked bread available created after old recipes and baked in the wood stove.
