This hiking trail is along an elevated boardwalk which is about 3 miles round trip through a Florida bald cypress swamp. Beware when the boardwalk is wet it can be very slippery. Park is open dusk till dawn. The trail has many side trips that take you out to scenic over looks where you can view the wildlife and watch birds along Haw Creek. If you really slow down and enjoy the hike someone has been carving tiki heads in the sabal palms along the trail at last count I have found 5.
