CZ: Jako Rafael (hebr. „Buh uzdravuje“) se oznacuje jeden z archandelu, vetšinou spolu s dalšími dvema, kterí jsou z Bible známí jménem (tj. Michael a Gabriel). Jeho atributy jsou mimo jiné hul a cestovní láhev. Jeho jméno je spojením dvou hebrejských slov: „Rapha“ (doktor, uzdravitel) a „el“ (buh). V Bibli je jako archandel jmenován výslovne jen Michael, a tak Rafael nebývá protestanty archandelem nazýván.
