It costs $2 to Press-a-Penny in one of four designs at this penny press in the foyer of the Auckland War Memorial Museum. The machine has been made by Kiwi Pressed Penny Machines.
It is a four-die hand crank machine and costs $2NZ with a copper blank provided. The designs are Auckland Museum, a Moa, a dinosaur, and a Maori House. As with other 'kiwi pressed penny machines' there is a hole-punch on the right hand side and they sell necklaces and keychains for your penny. Be careful when using the hole punch and only turn the handle ONE revolution or it will punch your penny twice.
