The Pavenham Osier Beds are a nature reserve next to the River Great Ouse. The land belongs to the Wildlife Trust and they are restoring the beds to their original state.

Amongst the beds can be seen nettles, lesser celandines, common meadow rue and of course willow (where osier comes from). Grass snakes, butterflies and the Banded Demoiselle flourish here. The Coppice Cycle is shown with the osier management system.
