En 1978 avec l’engouement du public le ciné parc ajoute 2 autre écrans ce qui rajoute 992 autres places.
Le Ciné parc était la propriété de Cineplex Odeon

Même avec un total de 1886 places le Ciné Parc ferme ces portes en septembre 2004
Un dernier sursaut pour ce Ciné parc, le 15 Aout 2009 dans le cadre du Festival du fil de Laval une projection spéciale du film Dédé, à travers les brumes a eu lieux au cout de 10.00$
