'R.N.L.I. Calshot Lifeboat is situated on Calshot Spit in Hampshire.

It’s crew is voluntary and available to save life at sea within the busy Solent, Southampton Water and offshore areas 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Calshot has 2 lifeboats, a Tyne class all weather lifeboat and a D-class inshore lifeboat.'

'The RNLI’s last ever Brede class lifeboat left service at Calshot in 2002 and the station now operates both an inshore and an all weather lifeboat, covering the middle section of the Solent.'
