This hospital building has had many owners and operations since its original construction in 1925. In 1932, it was known as Cimarron Valley Wesley Hospital. In 1946, it was operated by the Order of the Sisters of Benedict. A Missouri Order of sisters purchased it in 1964, renaming it Alvero Heights Hospital. In 1974, the name was changed to Logan County Memorial Hospital. The hospital was deeded to the county in 1977 and sold in 1982 to a partnership who planned to remodel the building into 50 to 70 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments but the project never became a reality.

This 55,000 square foot, five-story hospital building at the intersection of 19th Street and West Warner Avenue is rumored to be haunted. An apparition has been seen in third-floor windows. Local residents have reported various sounds and lights. Because the building is deemed structurally unsafe, local police authorities warn that trespassers will be prosecuted. The police indicated that there are live cameras set up inside the building that dispatchers watch.

Basically all paranormal activities that have been reported are limited to figures and shadows. This building has been investigated by many of the Oklahoma paranormal teams and has even used this site as an ongoing research site. Due to many break-ins and upcoming renovations no teams will be allowed to enter anymore.
Public access?:
Outside viewing only. No trespassing on property and no entrance to the building.
