Laurel Gardens is a suburb located north of the city of Pittsburgh, near West View.

Monument is granite, and located at a road intersection. The monument is 8 feet tall, with a background of small trees. A spread winged eagle is engraved on the top portion of the granite slab. The surface area reserved for the monument is about 30 feet by 30 feet. A flag pole is also present on the monument.
