The Town of Granby has established a park for canine off-leash recreation. It is restricted to dogs and their owners. Children under 8 years old are not allowed. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult with a dog. Off-leash dogs must be under voice control of the owner while in the park.
The area is about 40' by 80' rectangular area enclosed by a black 4' high chain link fence. Entry and exit is via a set of double fence doors. The area has scattered trees, an information kiosk and a picnic table. A platform supporting a large jug of water was present. Swimming in nearby Salmon Brook is available in the summer. The park does not receive funds from the Town of Granby so donations are encourages.
