The marker is a stone in a brick wall at the south east corner of King's Cross railway station in York Way.

The stone plaque is in fair to poor condition and is difficult to read due to an iron/steel strap that runs across it. Some parts, bottom corners, of the face have been lost and have just been made good with a cement mix. One of the bolts, holding the strap, is affixed into the plaque.
The plaque, with difficulty, reads:
"165 The Boundary Line / St.P.P. extends / 35ft 6 ins eastwards / xxx the face of this st xxx / 1853".
Where "xxx" represents missing letters.
"St.P.P." represents St Pancras Parish.
