The Cooke City Store was established in the spring of 1886. The building is a long narrow wooden structure covered with pressed tin siding. The building is two stories high at the front slopes to a story and a half at the rear. The building retains historic architectural integrity and contains many original fixtures from the late 1800’s. The building was placed on the National Register in 1986 marking its 100th anniversary.
Open May - September 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm.
