"Chinese Bronze Cannon
This massive Fortress Gun
is believed to have been
captured by British froces
from the forts gaurding
Canton during the Second
China War (1856-1861).
It was brought back to
Britain as a trophy by HMS
Nelson. It was formerly
displayed at Upper Castle,
Kent and the Rotunda,
Woolwich."
