The Inukshuk is a pile of stones evoking the human form and sprinkles the Arctic. It serves as a benchmark to help Inuit find their way into the White Desert.
These stones that were used in the construction of the fourth church of Sainte-Croix (current church) come from Saint-Marc-des-Carrières and were routed through a path of ice on the St. Lawrence river.
