Sculpture by Artur Rosa forming an arch made of cubes and rectangles.
In 1971 Artur Rosa designed this a metallic sculpture formed by drawing an arch with a group of stainless steel cubes of deep red that was placed in 1999, at Avenida Conde de Valbom, almost thirty years after its creation.
This work is characterized by a strong geometric tendency of the elements, of constructivist content, getting a good connection with the surrounding urban space and creating a dynamic sinusoidal motion, enchained by positioning a series of cubes as if suspended.

This artist has a degree in architecture and began to devote himself to sculpture in the early 50's. However, he is primarily a sculptor and painter of abstract orientation, of a rigorous geometry sometimes symmetrical of Cubist influence.
