Sri Racha ('C-Racha') is a town in the Chonburi province of Thailand, on the eastern Thai seaboard, ~70kms from Bangkok. On the southern side of the town are the municipal offices, and, adjoining these offices, to the north, is a small park. This is a new park, according to the sign (in gallery) the park was dedicated in the year 2553 of the Buddhist era, which converts to 2010 CE. The current google map image of the area show the park still under construction.
The park contains, as its central feature, a statue of the 7th King of the Chakri dynasty of Thailand, and some attractive landscaping, a small playground, a dysfunctional locomotive, and labelled trees. Not much space for sitting down and watching the day pass by, more for a quick visit. To the west is a hill, which is also accessible to the public, with facilities, though I am unsure of its official status.
