The Baroque Jaromerice nad Rokytnou Chateau is one of the most impressive architectural monuments of the first half of the 18th century in the Czech Republic and Europe in general. A French-style chateau garden was created alongside the building, as was an extensive English park on the opposite bank of the small river Rokytná. At the time of its heyday, Jaromerice was a focal point of cultural life. The renowned Czech musician František Václav Míca, the composer of the first Czech opera, entitled The Foundation of the Town of Jaromerice, pursued his career as a conductor here. The chateau exhibition is a stylish replication of a Baroqou residence with a 19th-century interior.

Jan Adam z Questenberka si nechal v letech 1700 - 1739 vystavet jednu z nejvetších rezidencí ve strední Evrope. Podle návrhu rakouského architekta Jacoba Prandtauera vznikl monumentální ctyrkrídlý zámek, jehož 2 krídla vybíhají ješte do zahrady. Mezi bohate zdobenými interiéry je i divadlo, hudební sál, sala terrana a rímské lázne. Soucasne s budovami vznikla i zámecká zahrada francouzského typu a na druhé strane rícky Rokytné rozsáhlý park v anglickém stylu. Ve své nejslavnejší dobe byly Jaromerice centrem kulturního života. Kapelníkem zde byl také známý ceský hudební skladatel František Václav Míca, autor první ceské opery "O založení mesta Jaromeric". Zámecká instalace je stylovou rekonstrukcí barokního sídla i interiéru 19. století.
