Inheritance of the work led since the end of the XIXth century by the arboriculturist Louis-Gustave Croux.
He exposed, in this arboretum, the most interesting vegetables which he cultivated at the same time in tree nursery.
The site was bought by the department of the "Hauts de Seine" in 1986.
It presents more than 500 different species today among which 165 types of trees for many centenarians.
We find rare essences of America and Asia and numerous varieties horticultural there.
Among them, the most exceptional subject is doubtless the weeping blue cedar, appearing in the departmental inventory of the remarkable trees.
Unique to the world, four chief branches of this tree occupy more than 680 m2 of surface.
