Simple flagpole and marker to honor area veterans in Ironwood, Michigan. The flagpole and marker are located on the grounds of the historic Ironwood train depot. The depot was built in 1892 and now houses a small museum, tourist information and more.
The brass marker on the flagpole reads:
Dedicated to the men and women from the Ironwood area who served in our nation's armed forces. Ironwood American Legion Post 5 2000
