A overflow that allows excess water to flow from the Swansea Marina out into the mouth and into the sea. To the south west of here is a fish ladder that allows fish to not drop to their death over the falls.

The falls is a simple drop with a supported concrete lip allowing the excess water to drop over a distance of around 10meters drop and the width is around 15m.
It flows all year around to keep the level in the marina constant, and the marina is topped up on the other side by a river flow. It is free to access this area and the only way to approach is to park in one of the local multi stories or to catch the train to the nearby station.
