An old School on the North West bank of the River Rheidol in Llanfarian. It has a date cut into a sandstone block over the doorway to the door. This building is no longer in use as a School, I would think it is now used as either a hall or perhaps as a school hall for the community.
The plaque reads:-

Pentre'r Bont
1879
The welsh for School is Ysgol or on occasion Ysgoldy.
