Eisenhower Plaza is on the south side of Lake Hefner, at Stars and Stripes Park. The monocular faces northeast, towards the restaurants and lighthouse.
This is a wonderful monument honoring our former President Dwight D. Eisenhower. A bust of Eisenhower is a focal point, with plaques listing his famous sayings located on either side. Flag poles at the center, and a red/white/blue design is painted on the floor of the plaza.
A bike path runs along the lake here, and there are bike racks and benches for those who wish to stop and spend some time here.
Cost to Operate: 25 cents
Primary Vista: Lake Hefner: north and northeast, to the restaurants and lighthouse
Number of devices at the site: 4 (two sets of monoculars, each set includes one that is handicap accessible)
Other Vistas at the location: East Wharf Lighthouse, Louie's restaurant
