Chonburi is a Thai province stretching along the Gulf of Thailand, to the south east of Bangkok. It is an industrialised province, one of the more populous, and it contains within its borders the resort city of Pattaya.
In the government precinct of Chonburi City, capital of the province, is this 'old', former provincial court building. It is just across the road, from the new court building. There is no information available as to the age or use of the building, merely, so I am informed, the title 'Chonburi Provincial Court', in Thai characters, above the main entrance.
The old court house is clearly abandoned, but it is still basically sound. An interesting and intricate facade. It resembles somewhat the Phuket City court house in Phuket City, Thailand.
