The song "Sous les ponts de Paris" was composed in 1914. The words are by John Rodor and music by Vincent Scotto. Maurice Chevalier, Aimé Doniat and Lucie Silvas also performed "Sous les ponts de Paris".

The English version "Under the Bridges of Paris" was recorded by both Eartha Kitt and Dean Martin.

If you walk through Paris today you have a good chance to hear that tune been played by the street musicians.

Paris has 37 bridges across the Seine, of which 3 are pedestrian only and 2 are rail bridges. From our pictures one can see: le pont d'Iena, le pont Alexandre III, le pont Royal, le pont des Arts (pedestrian) and la passerelle Debilly (pedestrian).

The coordinates were taken at the entrance of Pont d'Iena from the Trocadéro side.
