With the Twin Lakes Wildlife Management Area (visit link) just northeast of town, this is Moose Country, just don't expect to do any Moose Hunting here. Moose Hunting in Minnesota is limited to Northeast Area of the state and only a very limited number of licenses are issued each year. (visit link)
