This building was marked as a CSCE National Historic site in 1983. Built in 1859 by Thomas Keefer, a president for the CSCE, this building has an Italianate style and still has much of the original equipment, including the original Canadian built engine, trucked in from a Dundas Foundry. It is also a Canadian National Historic Site for it's industrial late 1800s architecture. It is currently a Steam and Technology Museum and open to the public for viewing.
