Lors de la restauration du Parc de Sceaux par le département de la Seine en 1935, l'architecte Azéma imagine ces nouvelles cascades en style contemporain, ornées de mascarons.
Ces mascarons de bronze proviennent du grand bassin au pied de la cascade du Trocadéro. Ils ont été sculptés par Rodin (1840-1917) pour l'Exposition universelle de 1878.

During the restoration(catering) of the "Parc de Sceaux" by the department of the Seine in 1935, the architect Azéma imagines these new waterfalls in contemporary style, decorated with mascarons.
This mascarons of bronze results from the big pond at feet of the waterfall of the Trocadéro. They were sculptured by Rodin (1840-1917) for the World Fair of 1878.
