This 1681 marble work is entitled "Le Gladiateur Mourant" or "The Dying Gladiator". It depicts a lean muscled man sitting with his right leg under him (part of which is missing) and holding his head low while propping himself up with his right hand. His left hand is restting on his right thigh. He also wears a necklace and a mustache.
