Amour in this case probably refers to Cupid- here represented as a child bringing the nymph some fruit. The nymph lies on her back half-clothed distracted by something in the distance.

The work is dated 1685-1690 and is by Etienne Le Hongre (1628-1690) and Balthasar Keller (1638-1702). Le Hongre worked on numerous projects at Versailles and other sites around Paris as a member of the Bâtiments du Roi. Read more about him at (visit link)
