This Roadside Attraction is an original-size reproduction of a record sturgeon that was caught in 1903. It's on Centennial Drive at Waddell Avenue in the middle of Dominion City, Manitoba.

Roadside America calls it the 'World's Largest Sturgeon' but the on-site plaque just claims that it is 'Manitoba's Biggest Sturgeon'. Either way, at 4.7 metres (15.5 feet), it is a very large specimen.

"The Fish"
This is an original size re-production of Manitoba's biggest sturgeon. Weight 406 lbs.,Length 15 1/2 ft.,age 150 years, a female, full of caviar. The record sturgeon was taken out of Roseau River east of Dominion City, by Sandy Waddell, October 27, 1903. Hauled home in a seven-foot Democrat by a team of horses, five feet of this monster still trailed the ground.
