Cette église est la plus grande église romane de Haute-Auvergne. L'église romane actuelle a été construite au XIIe siècle.
La tour octogonale du clocher, construite en 1385, a été démolie puis reconstruite en 1625 puis à partir de 1845.
L'église possède une très belle cuve baptismale du XIIe siècle ornée de sculptures.
A l'extérieur, les corbeaux représentent des scènes pleines de vie avec des têtes humaines, des animaux et des hommes dans des positions acrobatiques.

This church is the biggest Romanic church of High Auvergne. The current Romanic church was built in the XIIth century.
The octagonal tower of the bell tower, built in 1385, was demolished then reconstructed in 1625 then from 1845.
The church possesses a very beautiful baptismal tank of the XIIth century decorated with sculptures.
Outside, corbels represent scenes full of life with human heads, of animals and of men in acrobatic positions.
