The Great Falls Cotton Mill (also called the Falls City Cotton Mill), is located on the bluffs above the Great Falls of the Caney Fork River. The mill was best known for heavy sheeting. It was built in 1892 and operated until the wheel house which powered the mill was swept away in the great flood of March 1902. It never resumed operation.
