The NGS database indicates this one is supposed to be located on the lawn of the Maries County Courthouse. It is now located about .1 miles from courthouse in front of Old Jail Museum which is operated by the Maries County Historical Society and is on a concrete pedestal about projecting about 2-foot above the ground. I indicated it to be in poor condition because it is no longer located where is supposed to be and should be viewed more as a historical artifact.
