Ralph Bunche Park is located on the west side of First Avenue between 42nd and 43rd street. On the north end of the park there is a 50' high stainless steel shaft entitled Peace Form One created by a friend of Ralph Bunche, sculptor Daniel LaRue Johnson. The sculpture was dedicated in 1980.
In the sidewalk below the sculpture is the inscription:
PEACE FORM ONE
