The view of the Annapurna Himalaya from this mountain top is almost a religious experience. Most people come here at dawn and dusk when the sun picks out the peaks transforming them from a purple-pink to a celeste gold. The main village is below the ridge. One must hike for half an hour to get to the village, and then another 15 minutes to get to the top of the ridge for the viewpoint adjacent to a small army post.
Altitude in Feet: 5500
